    Hi guys,

I am Media Designer and doing lots of websites, one of them is a shop and I am trying using in future your Plugin “WooCommerce Conversion Tracking” with the pro version.

But I am bit concerned about my tag manager extension for chrome, it says: “Multiple installations of Global site tag (gtag.js) detected” this is just tested on a staging area and it’s just coming from your own plugin. I’ve tested it (deactivated) and no tag was included. Even more I can’t add my Tag manager, cause I wanna track a little bit more like Downloads (PDF) and Contact Forms.

1.) Is this normal to have multiple installations of gtags?
2.) Is this not possible to add only my Tag Manager for further more tags (downloads, contact forms <tracking> )?

My staging site: staging2.curry-wolf.de (just open for the next 7 days)

Thanks for your answer, it does help me to decide buying your plan.

    Hi Patrick

1.) Is this normal to have multiple installations of gtags?

Yes. It is implemented exactly as specified by Google here. As soon as you use more than one Google product it generates a config for each, as specified. Google Tag Assistant detects these as separate gtag.js instances. It is just a warning that you can ignore.

2.) Is this not possible to add only my Tag Manager for further more tags (downloads, contact forms <tracking> )?

Maybe, probably, but at your own risk.

For tracking custom conversions you can use shortcodes.

Let me know if you have more questions.

    Regards
