tag makes font too small in italic

looks like a bug..

just go to your THEME SETTINGS -> CSS tab and add this CSS snippet:

em {
font-style: italic;
font-size: inherit;
}

will be fixed for the next version. thanks for your feedback!

But why does it only work if I put it in the CSS tab in “Theme Settings” and not directly into the style.css file?

I also would love to change the formatting of block quotes, but adding css to the css tab didn’t do what I want. Can you give me a snippet that I can adjust and add? (Text the same size & font as body text and no background color — just a literary standard indented block quote.)

dont use style.css as it is not update safe – you would loose all changes every time you update the theme.

block quotes -> do you have a link to your site?

thats how to address the blockquote:

div.post blockquote {
padding: 20px 10px;
… and so on

thats how to address the p text inside a blockquote:

div.post blockquote p {
…

and so on..
