Tag line is not updating

  • I have updated my tag line for this site; but it is still showing my old tag line. I am using a theme that I purchased outside of WP. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. I am saving it. I have tried to access the tagline via Settings/General and through the Dashboard/Appearance/Customize

    There could be a few things at play here: depending on your hosting or plugins, it could be cached and you can’t see change, rarer, but possible.

    Your 3rd party theme has its OWN place you put the tagline in. Find where the “theme” settings are located…

    Also, you are running Yoast and you can override that in their settings also.

    Let me know if we are talking the same thing here ??

    Really?! That’s what I want, lol! It isn’t showing when I go into my site for a preview or when I look at it. Maybe I need to delete the bookmark and start over. I’ll try that. Thanks for looking!
