Hello, I’ve installed the nitropack plug in on my website a few days ago.
I am using the Yoast plug in and the SEO Powersuite tool for SEO work.

When the nitropack plug in is active the site is very fast indeed.

However, the page & post <title> tags from Yoast have disappeared and my SEO Powersuite is reporting “missing title tags” everywhere. When I disable the nitropack the <title> tags come back to normal.

This has had a big impact on the SEO of my website, that has now started losing its good rankings. The <title> tag is very important to all SEO work.

That’s quite disappointing. Otherwise, nitropack delivers in all areas it promises.

Is there a setting in nitropack that I need to configure to avoid this situation please? At present it is set to “Ludicrous”

Happy to wait for your answer for a couple of days.
Otherwise I’ll have no option but to deactivate your plug in.

    Thank you
    Chris

    Hello @zorba83,

Thank you for the report! I have inspected the case and the <title> tags do not seem to be missing. Please take a look at this screenshot – https://i.imgur.com/j7hcmaR.png.

However the tag appears below the critical CSS which might be causing some tools to believe the tag is missing if they do not scan this far in the HTML. We made an update on our end which makes sure that the title tags appear early in the HTML structure.

To apply the changes please purge your cache. Let us know how the changes are working out for you.

    Thank you for doing this.

I’ve purged the cache multiple times but now the status of each link is either FORBIDDEN or TIMED OUT … hence no new optimisation has been generated to test for the <title> tag location.

I am not sure if I have caused this by accident in my configuration or there is a problem with the hosting server.

    Please advise.

    Thank you

    Hi @zorba83,

Status “Forbidden” means that our servers cannot access content from yours. If you are using a firewall (e.g Wordfence) it is recommended to whitelist our server IPs. An up to date list can be found here: https://help.nitropack.io/en/articles/3379008-ip-whitelisting.

Timed out means that your server took more than 30 seconds to respond to requests from our server. If this happens consistently then you need to look for a way to reduce the initial loading time. Often times, these are temporary issues and you should simply repeat the optimization.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,
