tag cloud on home page?

    Hi Ben,

    I was wondering if it’s possible to show the tag cloud on the home page?
    The widget seems now only available for after page content and after post content, or did I miss something? I think it would be a great added value of the Tracks template if the home page is a little more customizable in that aspect.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

    You are right about the widget areas, right now there are only the two for that show below the post & page content.

    If you were to add the tag cloud to the homepage, where would you want it to show?

    Hi Ben,

    Thanks for your response. I would like to add it as an element right below the header (with the name/tagline) or optionally in the footer.

    Alternatively, a solution would be to optionally show tags of a post in the excerpt /thumbnail on the homepage. Like that, it gives visitors a brief idea of what the blog/posts are about.

    Okay, since we’ve received a number of requests for a widget area in the footer now, I’m going to add that to the next update. There will be a new widget area called “Footer” where you will be able to add the tag cloud widget.

    If we receive more requests for additional widget areas, we will add them as well ??
