Tag Cloud – Not Updating

  • I’ve got a few blogs. A couple of them started as 1.5 and have been upgraded, as necessary, to 2.3.2. In the most recent upgrade, it appears that the tag clouds show up, but aren’t being “updated”. That is new posts with new tags don’t show up. I’ve not yet reached the 40 tag limit (mentioned in other posts).

    To add confusion to my life, I’ve recently created a different site and started with 2.3.1. It’s tags are working very well.

    Any ideas on how to get my old site’s tags working? It appears that the category based tags are fine, but the tags entered into the “tag” field are not.

    Also, I’m using the Click Tags plugin and the newer tags don’t show up, either.

    Update: I’ve changed from Click Tags to Simple Tags and the problem is still there, mostly. A NEW post sometimes works, and sometimes doesn’t. I’ve also set Simple Tags to NOT use categories, deleted all of the tags, added new tags and the tag clouds still use the categories.
