• I just updated wordpress and my theme. Now my tag cloud went from being a cloud to a linear line. Has anyone had a similar problem. Is there a way to resolve this? I didn’t have a plugin before and I’d rather not use one now. Thanks.

Update: The problem only seems to be happening with the chrome browser.

Not true, the problem appears also in microsoft edge

I don’t use tag clouds but in checking the Twenty Twelve Changelog today I noticed this:

    Version 2.4
    Released: November 14, 2017
    – Remove “called called” and “can can” dittography. (#41836)
    – Change tag cloud format to a list (ul) for better semantics and accessibility. (#40138)
    – Make sure new gallery widgets look good in themes. (#41969)

Note the second item in the log. It seems that list view is now the way this theme displays tag clouds.

    Hope this helps.

Yeah it’s because of the update.

But it doesn’t explain why this happens. Ideally should have worked.

The reason I see it not working is because maybe a plugin or something is still loading the older version of the theme’s style.css

So clear out caches on the server side (if you’ve installed something like W3 Total Cache).

Thank you all very much. Looks like the problem was fixed. I appreciate it.
