Tag ‘amp-story’ is not allowed to have any sibling tags

    I am really AMPED for Amp stories. I have created a test story with Gutenburg but I get an amp validation error.

    Tag ‘amp-story’ is not allowed to have any sibling tags (‘body’ should only have 1 child)

    Please can you help me troubleshoot this?

    Hi there

    It looks like there is some Google Tag Manager integration on your site. That code is not allowed in a story context. Maybe it is a plugin of yours that adds this?

    Spot on. Thanks…. Now I need to find a new way to implement tags and exclude amp stories.

    What plugin were you using? How were the tags being added to the story template?

    You know what, as a person who also does plugin support, I should have told you this.

    I am using the Head, Footer and Post Injections plugin to insert GTM throughout my website. I literally installed this (AMP) plugin a couple of days ago. So going through everything and checking out errors.

    I am now using Tomi Duracell’s GTM plugin with a seperate AMP container for GTM. The validations pass on the stories.

    I will continue providing feedback on other issues when I come across them.
