Was considering using MailJet on my WordPress site, but given how infrequent are plugin updates (reCaptcha?) and the lack of major bugfixes (like this one), I went with the competitor…

If I’m not mistaken, features like reCaptcha got nothing to do with this plugin as this only handles the mail delivery. reCaptcha needs to be handled by the form, not by the mail delivery plugin. Please feel free to correct if I’m wrong.

Thanks for the correction. I only use it for mail delivery but now it makes sense.
