Tackling Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) in Page Builder widgets Google Lighthouse

    I’ve been using Google’s Lighthouse (https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/) to reduce Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS).
    CLS is when items jump around while the page loads.

    I’ve had to add min-height under Attributes>CSS Declarations
    to the SiteOrigin Pagebuilder widgets to reduce the layout shift. Is there an easier way to do this? Maybe a fix to the plugin could be in order?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    We recently resolved this issue with the Hero widget. Based on what I’m aware of at the moment, we’d need to tackle the problem on a widget by widget basis, we could also look at row styling if that’s a problem. Do you perhaps have an example layout we could look at?
