Tabulated output

  • The current outputs are absolutely great. But what I am also looking for is the possibility to output links in a tabulated way such that the header row contains the categories included in the link library and the first column(s) lists individual links by (icon/thumbnail,) names. In the cells a simple x (or other marker by users choice) would denote that a certain link belongs to a certain category.

    Is there any way that this can be made? Or has it been made but I simply haven’t found such an addon?

    This is the first time that someone asks for this type of functionality. With the way Link Library currently works, it would not be possible to achieve this functionality since the plugin iterates through Links one category at a time. What you would need is custom code that traverses all categories at once to create that grid.

    If you know how to develop WordPress plugins, you could create your own shortcode that display links in this fashion. Alternatively, I could develop such a custom plugin for you. You can contact me at: ylefebvre.ca/contact-me to discuss further.
