• Resolved jsupernova1

I updated the plugin to the latest version (3.7.3) tonight. This completely broke the editing functionality; no longer able to edit tabs in any shortcode; unable to re-arrange tabs. The existing display on the pages that are using it are unaffected – it is just no longer possible to change anything. This is a complete showstopper. To work around the issue, I had to replace our staging site from production in order to back pedal to the previous version of the plugin. That version works. So I have to refrain from updating the plugin and transition to a different plugin unless there is a resolution soon.

  • I didn’t update anything but I cannot edit any tabs in any shortcode and it’s impossible to re-arrange tabs. If you have any information please update

Content tabs is not working, I tried many times to edit but it doesn’t work. It’s an urgent issue, please inform me soonest thanks

It is NOT WORKING for me either… I have the exact same problem as you, the edit functionality is dead. The plugin is essentially broken (AGAIN).

This is totally unacceptable. And, it is the THIRD time we’ve had MAJOR issues with this plugin since we purchased it.

There’s been other total functional breaks in the past with this thing. Repairs take way, way, way too long to fix from the plugin’s designer and with the recent security breach here in December, I’m sorry to have to say that I am done with it.

This plugin is plagued with problem, after problem, after problem and I’m not moving forward with it. I will be tasking a team member of mine to rebuild everything on all our websites with… Tabs By wpshopmart

Hopefully the new Tabs plugin by wpshopmart will be better than this one going forward long term.

I am so disappointed, since Content Tabs does have a nicer look, (better than, “Tabs By wpshopmart”), and Content Tabs also has such a nicer design to all of the ways that it operates.

Sadly, the problem is that Content Tabs is so horribly unreliable with its poor track record of major security issues and complete functional breaks that take much too long to repair.

I was going to give this plug-in another shot after their next update in response to complaints. After reading some of the other responses; not no mores! I never had any serious issue with them until this total showstopper. I’m now running on the version prior to 3.7.3 which will give me the time to transition to a different plugin. Prior to them, I used Tabby Responsive Tabs, then experienced issues with that which lead me to switch to this now horror show. I might go with another suggestion I read here: Tabs by WP Shopmart. Tabby Responsive Tabs had an in-line design (one short code per tab instead of per page with content right on the page) which had the advantage of allowing links directly to any tab dynamically from a different page or browser though it was not as aesthetically pleasing as this plugin.

Update to the latest version(?) Well, if that’s version 3.7.3 then NO; I already tried that and was unable to use the plugin at all until I rolled back to the previous version.

@jsupernova1 there’s a new version. Check in WP the plugins update…
