Tabs broken in classic editor

I’m sorry about the issue you encountered? Does it persist when you update to Yoast SEO 21.9?

Yes. And I just tested now with ONLY the “seo” plugin active, and even the “blocks” editor is broken.

Can you let me know what version of Classic Editor you have?

Am not using the plugin, only these two lines to disable the “block” editor.

    add_filter( 'use_block_editor_for_post', '__return_false', 10 );            // Disable Gutenberg.
    add_filter( 'use_block_editor_for_post_type', '__return_false', 10 );       // Disable Gutenberg.

The conflict could be from the filter you’re using to disable the block editor but I can’t troubleshoot that.

Testing a two line filter is difficult? Ok.

I’ve disabled the filters and activated Version 1.6.3 of the classic editor. Same error.

I spun up a fresh test site running WordPress 6.4.3, Yoast SEO 21.9.1, Twenty Twenty-Four theme and Classic Editor 1.6.3. The Yoast SEO meta box loads as expected.
