Tablo “wpka_woocommerce_order_itemmeta” too long

  • Hello I noticed my site is a bit slow and checking DB I found the table “wpka_woocommerce_order_itemmeta” have 8gb of data.

    I Installed a staggeing site and delete all on this table and site keep working fine. Can you explain me what is the specific task for this information and if is secure clean it every some time?

    Hi there!

    woocommerce_order_itemmeta contains metadata for the items purchased in an order. If you take a look at the staging site and view one of the orders, you’ll notice that a lot of details. Here’s a small list of data that you’ll lose by deleting the table:

    I’d recommend against deleting things from the database in this case. You can either delete the older orders if you no longer need access to them or go for a server that allows higher storage.

    Thanks Aashik, I deleted old, cancelled, failled orders (more than 10.000) but registries on this table was not reduced… I this normal?

    I see details on table “woocommerce_order_itemmeta” related to ordes that was delete…
