Tablet Hamburger Menu Stuck After Astra Theme Update to 3.7.9

    I updated to latest version of Astra theme yesterday and since then the dropdown menu will not display properly on a tablet. Works fine for desktop and mobile.

    On a tablet (iPad using Safari) in portrait mode the hamburger menu list will not display, it appears non responsive. However turn the tablet to landscape mode and you then see the menu drop down is open. But then the header with logo is repeated a second time lower on the screen. And the screen is a mess.

    Starting in landscape mode from the start, displays the header twice and the hamburger menu open already across the header. Clicking on the links to different pages, the hamburger menu stays open and header still repeated.

    Do you have any link URL we can check?

    Also, what iPad you were having this issue? What version of the iOS and Safari? Is the Menu working fine on Chrome?

    If you can create a screen-captured video and share it with us, that would be great.

    Thank you for your response which has helped me find out that it was in fact a device problem caused by older iPad IOS versions not the theme update as I originally thought. My apologies.

    In answer to your questions I had tested on 2 iPads and found both had the issue – an iPad Mini 2 and an iPad Air 2. Which made me consider the update I had just done in WordPress. However since reading your response I have updated the iPad Air2 to IOS 15.3.1 and that has fixed the problem on that device with the website working as it should. The iPad Mini 2 however has only updated to IOS 12.5.5 and is still having the issue. I need to buy a new iPad by the looks. ??

    The website was working fine in Chrome on a PC.

    Hi,
    My experience with ghost headers differs a bit. My iPad Air is version 12.5.5 and Android tablet version 8.1.0. Both devices exhibit a ghost transparent header with dropdown stack on top of the portrait transparent header when pages are displayed in landscape mode. However, while the Android tablet reverts to a single header in a few seconds, the IPad continues to display both transparent headers.
    Interestingly, the webpages are displayed fine on both desktop and iPhone devices.
    I am still searching for a solution for this issue.
