• Hi, while building a website I realized that although the menus work perfectly on the workstation, they don’t on tablets or mobile.

The only option I’ve found to make them work is to deactivate WooCommerce (v.6.8.0).
But it’s not an option as I’m using WooLentor WooCommerce Elementor Addons (v.2.4.3)

I’m completely stuck on this problem, and as a new WordPress user, I don’t dare to start developing over CSS and other configuration files without the security that it will work.

My only option is to try another Theme. Currently with ASTRA (v3.9.1).

I would heartily appreciate any help on this, as it is taking much time.

  • Have you tried setting up the mobile menus in the header builder? They have to be set up separately.

I didn’t have this problem, but after some changes to the Astra settings, the two mobile menus do not open, when I tap on the toggle button!

Where exactly the menus have to be configured in Header Builder?

In the header builder, check the icons at the bottom of the page. There are 3: desktop, tablet and mobile. When clicking on them you can set up the headers for each

    Hi,

I know about these buttons and everything was configured correctly.
One of the changes I made was to remove the off-canvas menu from respective list for tablet and mobile devices, because I do not have such menu set.

I thought that the ‘Toggle Button’ element in the header is responsible for the primary menu on mobile devices. But not obviously, this is not the case!
When I added back the off-canvas menu, even when I do not have such menu configured, the primary menu started to function as expected on mobile devices.

    Hi there,
I tried individually configuring each of the 3 device types, with little success.
    What happened follows:
I can show the menus in all three types. What I cannot do is:
in Table and mobile is nicer to have, instead of a full menu, something called Burger type menu with an icon that expands that menu.

When set up as Burger, the Toggle menu icon appears on all those 2 devices, but when clicking upon that icon nothing happens. So you cannot navigate.

I have not found the reason why does not work. And because I want to get this running ASAP, I have -temporarily- chosen Toggle-Button None.
Having this workaround, despite they don’t look nice on Tablet/mobile, they work, although I would prefer to have that icon expanding the menu when tapping upon it.

I am really interested in having this sorted out, but my knowledge of ASTRA & WORDPRESS is limited, so the only I can do is to try all the different combinations.

Hi @anagrabert, sorry for the delay.

Will this doc help you on this matter?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
