• I have deleted some sites from the multisite network using the WP Network admin panel (Sites) and noticed that some tables remain in the database for each site that was deleted. The tables are for plugins that are activated across the network. Can these tables be removed from the database; we are very running close to our table limit and need the space? And what is the safest method for removing them from the database… can I select them and choose Drop? And is there anything else I should do to complete the removal of these sites?

Here is an example of two sites that were deleted but have tables remaining:

    wp_qjbi_2_gallery_albums
    wp_qjbi_2_gallery_licensing
    wp_qjbi_2_gallery_pics
    wp_qjbi_2_gallery_settings
    wp_qjbi_2_statistics_exclusions
    wp_qjbi_2_statistics_historical
    wp_qjbi_2_statistics_pages
    wp_qjbi_2_statistics_useronline
    wp_qjbi_2_statistics_visit
    wp_qjbi_2_statistics_visitor
    wp_qjbi_3_gallery_albums
    wp_qjbi_3_gallery_licensing
    wp_qjbi_3_gallery_pics
    wp_qjbi_3_gallery_settings
    wp_qjbi_3_maxbuttonsv3
    wp_qjbi_3_maxbuttons_buttons
    wp_qjbi_3_sc_log
    wp_qjbi_3_statistics_exclusions
    wp_qjbi_3_statistics_historical
    wp_qjbi_3_statistics_pages
    wp_qjbi_3_statistics_search
    wp_qjbi_3_statistics_useronline
    wp_qjbi_3_statistics_visit
    wp_qjbi_3_statistics_visitor

Yes, you can delete/drop these tables, but be very, very careful about what you delete. I would make multiple backups along the way, and be checking for anything affecting the other sites.
