    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Did you adjust the Shortcodes of the tables on that page to one of the three possibilities that are shown on the Extension’s web page?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Yes, even “scroll” wouldnt work

    Hi,

    can you turn that on again? Also, please uncheck the “Use DataTables” checkbox on the table’s “Edit” screen, as you seem to have turned off the individual features anyway.

    Tobias

    I think the Table is just to large in width to be displayed on a mobile phone or not?

    Hi,

    yes, the text content will not fit on a small screen, but that’s why we could try adding the scrolling.

    Hi,

    no problem, you are very welcome! ??

    Best wishes,

    Hello Tobias,

    I use your plugin for a lot of tables, also for our pictures of the employees. I was glad to read, that tablepress is also able to show the tables in a responsive design. Unfortunatly it doesnt work at my page. I hope you can support us in this case.

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    The question here is what you consider to be “responsive design” for this table. What do you want to happen on a small screen?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks for your fast answer.
    In the best way, all pictures will shown with the subscription under the pic among to each other. Is that possible? In the end, all the picture should be shown without scrolling right and left.

    Hi,

    no, sorry, that’s not possible, I’m afraid ?? That would be against the major feature of a table – a rows and columns structure. This is exactly what makes it so difficult to make tables responsive in a good way.

    For your table, you could look at the scroll mode of the Responsive Tables Extension maybe. The collapse mode is not really a good choice, in my opinion.

    Another idea would be to let the images shrink on small screens, although this will only be possible up to a certain degree (namely when the minimum column widths, which is defined by the longest word in a column, is reached). For that, you could add this to the “Custom CSS” textarea on the “Plugin Options” screen of TablePress:

    .tablepress-id-3 img {
      max-width: 100%;
    }

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

    it doesent work, but i try it in the next day and let you know, whats happen. Thank you

    BTW: Tablepress ist echt klasse. Vielen Dank für die Entwicklung.

    Hi,

    do you mean that the CSS does not work? For that, you might have to turn off the responsive modes for this table.

    And thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it!

    Regards,
    Tobias
