I’ve been running a different security plugin, but wanted to install aiowps since that’s what I use on my sandbox, and I need the user management features it adds. I made the BIG mistake of exporting/importing settings, and totally crashed my site before I even got started. I got back in once, following your instructions, but then I tried to re-install it. Big mistake. I worked with support for two days and I’m back up and running after loading a backup.

Now I’m scared. I really want to use this plug-in. How to I go about totally starting fresh? What do I do with WF–my active security? How do I get rid of the DB tables left behind in SQL?
    _aiowps_events
    _aiowps_failed_logins
    _aiowps_global_meta
    _aiowps_login_activity
    _aiowps_login_lockdown

Thanks for any advice or insights.

Hi, log in using phpMyAdmin and locate the database for the website you are having problems with. Look for any table with the following name _aiowps_ and delete that table.

Of course make a backup of your database first before you carry out the above.

    Regards
