I created a big “basic” table and by hiding-showing some rows and columns of that table i created several different tables with different names (IDs).

Unfortunately i had not got the opportunity to export this table so i had to copy data from sql table to another (tablepress_plugin_options and tablepress_tables).
It actually worked well, i can see all my different tables but it forgot hide-show settings, so every table looks the same and when displaying them on the website it gives an error message. (Warning: array_keys() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in…..)

What else should i copy or how can i save my work?

Thanks in advance, this plugin works for me better than any other plugin ever!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I’m not really sure that I understood all steps that you did here, but the table data is stored as a “tablepress_table” post type in the wp_posts table. The information about the table options (all the checkboxes below the table) and the information about hidden and visible rows is stored in the wp_postmeta table.

Now, I would however discourage everyone from directly manipulating table data in the database. Within the same site, you could simply use the “Copy” feature for tables. For transferring tables to another site/database, the export/import feature with the JSON format is the best.

    Tobias

    Thank you for your response!

I think i was confused about finding the tablepress_table.
I found it in wp_post, copied and did not search further.
    But i will:)

I used copy the feature earlier, it’s great, this time i had no choice…

Thanks again, awsom plugin, awsom support!
