The TablePress plugin isnt accessible in my admin sidebar after installing and activating. I deactivated all plugins except it and even went back to 2015 theme.

I checked for and found <?php wp_head(); ?> in the theme i was using.

    Its just a development / sandbox site – delawarereview.com

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

My assumption here is that the access rights for TablePress where not restored properly, so that we’ll have to do that manually.
For that, please surf to https://example.com/wp-admin/options.php (with your domain, of course), and scroll down to the “tablepress_options” option. In that textfield, you should see a number 29 as the “plugin_options_db_version”. Change that number to 0 (be very careful to not break the surrounding quotation marks etc.), and click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.
That should reset the capabilities, so that the admin menu entry should appear again.

    Regards,
    Tobias
