tablepress plugin interferes with the swiftthemes table shortcode

I use the wordpress Cardinal theme (https://cardinal.swiftideas.com/) which has a table shortcode. But for large imports of data we decided to use the tablepress plugin but when we activate the plugin it seems interfere with the theme’s table shortcode. We would like to use both options in this site so could you please advise what we could do to resolve this? Thanks!
