Tablepress max-width Safari issue

Think I’ve found a solution!

The trick was to add: width: 80%;

so the code is now:

.tablepress {
font-size: 10px !important;
width: 80%;
max-width: 580px;
}

Seems to work for now atleast.

As you see, I have the text to a max-width of 580px.

It works in Firefox, but Safari won’t understand the max-width code.

thanks for the link! Now, I checked in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, and each time, the table displays just fine, and has the same width as the image below it…
What exactly are you seeing?

that’s strange. This is not what happens for me in Safari.
Are you using the latest version? Maybe it’s just a local thing…

Yeah strange indeed! I’m running a Safari Version 6.0.5 (8536.30.1) on a Mac Pro with 10.8.5 Mountain Lion.

Hopefully it’s just my computer who acts up, I’ll see if I can check on another one ?? Thanks for looking into it anyway Tobias!
