I have a client with a table with 298 rows. When she tries to add another row and clicks ‘save’, she gets this error: “Saving failed: AJAX call failed: error – Not Found. Try again while holding down the “Shift” key.” Trying again while holding the shift key does nothing FYI.

I’ve tried disabling all plugins and still can’t get it to work. Have you run into this? Is there a max number of rows or something?

I can add rows to her other tables no problem, but none of the other tables are this large.

The site is here: https://aspyrre.com – if you’d like to see the back end I will email you temporary login info.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This is a server configuration, as far as I can see. While there is no limit of the number of rows in TablePress, some servers have certain security extensions installed that block a request if the data that is transmitted through a form is too big.
This could for example be the mod_security extension for the Apache webserver. Unfortunately, neither WordPress nor TablePress can influence this. I can therefore only suggest that you contact your webhost about this and ask them adjust the configuration of that extension so that larger HTTP requests are allowed again. They might have more information about this in their server error log files.

    Regards,
    Tobias
