Buttons do not appear when using the #colspan# code in a TablePress field.
    I have 3 tables on https://fortworthaa.org/?page_id=2728

By process of elimination I found the only factor which caused the TableTools buttons to not display was the #colspan# code.
How would I get it to work and still use the #colspan# code.
I am an amateur web manager and I support this website as a volunteer.
Any help would be appreciated. The ability to print that table using DatTables TableTools would be great.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The reason for this is that the external DataTables JavaScript library, which is basically the basis or foundation of the DataTables TableTools, does not support tables with combined/merged columns or rows (via #colspan# or #rowspan#). And as the foundation library does not support it, the TableTools add on can not work either.

So, as I’m not the developer of those libraries, there’s nothing that I can do here ?? Sorry.
If you want to use the TableTools, you must remove all #colspan#.

    Regards,
    Tobias
