Tablepress displays shortcode on page, not table

    Hi there

    Not sure how to describe this..
    I have made a couple of tables in tablepress, but when i add the shortcode to the text element of the theme (x-themes with cornerstone as editor) it displays the shorcode back to me
    [tp_table id=1 /]
    No table appears on the front-end, only the shortcode as above
    I have tried to change the code to something like this <tp_table id=1 />
    as the theme with the text element seems to work well with this format, but no luck

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Why are you using [tp_table id=1 /] and not [table id=1 /]? Are you using the TablePress Extension to change the Shortcode? If so, why?

    Do other Shortcodes work in this text field? Does the Shortcode [tp_table id=1 /] work with a different theme?

    I tried the standard code as well: [table id=1 /]
    but was not showing either… so i tried the extension to see if it would work, but still not showing the table – only the code

    Hi,

    if you are only seeing the Shortcode, this means that your theme is not properly interpreting Shortcodes that are entered in that text field. I can only suggest to contact the theme developers about this.

    I’m having the same issue on this page: https://www.mbcn.org/drug-reference-card/

    Other shortcodes [from the GoodLayers plugin] are working. But turning that plugin off does not fix the issue.
