When the TablePress plugin is activated, it causes an error in the WordPress admin when trying to download an Elementor template. Deactivating TablePress solves the problem.

From [Elementor]->Templates->Saved Templates, it I select Export Template, I get a download error from my browser. In Microsoft Edge this is “Couldn’t download – Network issue”. Similar errors occur in Chrome and Safari and on Android.

This is demonstrated on this screencast: https://youtu.be/LR4EoeKOLb0?hd=1

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

That’s strange, and right now, I don’t really have an idea on what might be causing this… If possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please get in touch by email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

Well, particularly weird but the problem was caused by a blank space before <?php in functions.php of my theme. Why this worked fine in all cases except where the TablePress plugin was active I have no idea, but at least the fix was easy!
