Tablepress 1.12 + wordpress 5.5 – fatal error

    Hi,

    after update to tablepress 1.12 and wordpress 5.5, we get fatal error that’s shown on site for each page contain tablepress table.

    This is the error:

    please provide a solution.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    That sounds strange. Could you please try re-installing TablePress from a fresh download, to rule out that some files were not updated or go corrupted during the normal plugin update?

    ok, thanks for trying that. If possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please get in touch by email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!

    Hi,

    for meravwebs, the issue was caused by the “TableGen – Data Table Generator” plugin that was activated on her site. It’s a copy of TablePress, and they simply didn’t adjust their code well enough, so that it now interferes with TablePress.
