Table wp_comments is marked as crashed and should be repaired

  • Hello,

    My dedicated server crashes every day or at least several times a week. I’m obliged to repair tables every time the database crashes ??

    Here are some errors I have when I launch table repair :

    Table 'wp_comments' is marked as crashed and should be repaired
Error : 1 client is using or hasn't closed the table properly

    Then, I have this message:

    Stopping MySQL database server: mysqldERROR 2013 (HY000): Lost connection to MySQL server at 'sending authentication information', system error: 32
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

    I don’t understand anything of that.

    you must start REPAIR query on your phpmyadmin to your db

    I make that via the freeware “PUTTY”, with this command line:
    ./restartMySQLbug

    It’s a command line suggested by a programmer to help me, it’s repairing my db in putty, and the website rerun, untill another crash…

    How could we solve this problem definitely ?
