    Hi Tobias,

ooo…I think I realized what is happening. I inherited this site and it now appears that I was trying to paste the table I created into the cell of another table. This jives with your comment that it must be being constrained some other way. It was not at all obvious to me there was a table there to begin with. I moved the short code “outside” and now it looks much better.

While I have your attention, is there an easy way to take a google doc spreadsheet and have TablePress simply populate a table from there?

    Hi,

yes, now the width is correct ??

About the spreadsheet: The best option would be to export the spreadsheet to a CSV file and import that into TablePress.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Hello — Here’s a link to the table I’d like to fit within a wordpress theme — lots of content — the owner of the site would like to easily add to it but due to the size, it’s difficult

Would your plug in be able to work with a table this size and still be usable?

    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

The table itself or its content should not pose a problem for TablePress. You might have some issues with the styling, as it has many columns. That will be tricky to fit onto the screen (just as it is right now), depending on the theme.

As you already have the table as an HTML file, I suggest to just give it a try and import it.

    Regards,
    Tobias
