Table sorting / searching / filtering

    Hello,

    I’ve had trouble getting my table to allow visitors to sort / search / filter. I manage another website that uses Tablepress and it isn’t a problem, so I’m not sure what’s different about this one.

    How do I get the sorting / searching / filtering options to show at the top of the table? The DataTables box is clicked on the backend, so the options should show up.

    Hi Kelley,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    This is caused by a small typo in row 30 of the table. After the URL in the link HTML code, there is a quotation mark " missing (between .pdf and >Residential and Commercial Buildings Report</a>. This caused the HTML to be invalid so that the JavaScript breaks.
    Just add this missing " and everything should work again.
