Table of Contents – Heading doesn’t show up

The table of contents itself works fine, but the heading doesn’t show up and probably is not even saved (see link):
- After inserting the block I change the standard heading “Table of Contents”
- In the editor everything is fine.
- In Preview the Heading simply isn’t there
- After saving the post, closing and reopening it, the header is back to the standard “Table of Contents”
Funny thing is that this used to work fine. I have the Gutenberg plugin installed on the site. Does that maybe interfere after updating to 5.9.1?
