    Hi TablePress Support,

I’m using TablePress on my website, and I need help configuring my table to display only certain columns by default while making others expandable when clicking the “+” button.

Here’s what I want to achieve:

    • Show only these columns by default:
      • Type
      • Country
      • Name
      • Website
    • Hide these columns initially and make them readable only when the user expands the row:
      • Description
      • Focus

The table is hosted on this page: https://scripotime.com/database/

I’ve tried using Responsive Tables (Collapse Mode), but I’m struggling to make it work as expected. Ideally, I’d like to hide the Description and Focus columns until the user clicks to expand the row.

Could you provide guidance on how to properly configure this in TablePress?
Would I need a custom CSS or JavaScript solution, or is there a built-in setting I might have missed?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Best regards,
    scripotime

    Hi @scripotime!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

Sure, we’ll get that configured! However, as this concerns a TablePress premium feature, I’m not allowed to help with this here in the WordPress Forums, per the rules.

There, please get in touch via email so that we can look at this as part of the priority email support that is part of your TablePress Pro license, see https://tablepress.org/support/

    Thanks for your understanding!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
