I can’t save tables properly anymore. Everytime I try, I get the error message as given in the Topic Title.

I alreade tried deactivating all other Plugins, but that did not solve the issue. Same with switching to Twenty Twentyone as theme – same error message while saving the table.

I also tried installing Enable JQuery Migration Helper Plugin, which also did not solve the issue.

    This is debug information:

    ·Website: https://zen-frankfurt-city.de
    · TablePress: 1.14
    · TablePress (DB): 43
    · TablePress table scheme: 3
    · Plugin installed: 2016/10/25 17:18:41
    · WordPress: 5.7.4
    · Multisite: no
    · PHP: 7.4.25
    · mysqli Extension: true
    · mySQL (Server): 10.4.22-MariaDB
    · mySQL (Client): mysqlnd 7.4.25
    · ZIP support: yes
    · UTF-8 conversion: yes
    · WP Memory Limit: 128M
    · Server Memory Limit: 128M
    · WP_DEBUG: false
    · WP_POST_REVISIONS: true

I had a look in the Servers Error Log and this is what I found:

zen-frankfurt-city.de [Tue Dec 14 15:16:33 2021] [error] [client 84.59.60....:.] AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: PHP Deprecated:? wpcf7_remove_shortcode ist <strong>veraltet</strong> seit Contact Form 7 Version 4.6! Nutze wpcf7_remove_form_tag stattdessen. in /kunden/.../wordpress/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/functions.php on line 540PHP message: PHP Deprecated:? wpcf7_remove_shortcode ist <strong>veraltet</strong> seit Contact Form 7 Version 4.6! Contact Form 7 is up to date. Also, disabling Contact Form 7 Plugin did not solve the issue.

Any idea how I could get this solved?

    Regards

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The “Internal Server Error” part of the error message indicates that this is caused by a problem on the server, outside of TablePress. The message from the server error log could play a role here, as they seem to be raised during the table save request.
They point at the Contact Form 7 plugin, but what’s strange is that they mention an deprecation error in the plugin itself.

I really would suggest to try again after temporarily deactivating all other plugins and after switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty, and to check if and what new entries are added to the server error log.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Dear Tobias,

as already mentioned in my original support request, I already tested deactivating all Plugins except TablePress and switching to Theme Twenty TwentyOne, but the error still occurs.

So, how to get this solved?

    Regards
    Michaela

    Hi,

ok, but that would mean that the file /wordpress/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/functions.php would not be loaded, thus the error message from above can no longer be happening.
Are you getting any errors in the log files with all other plugins deactivated?

    Regards,
    Tobias
