    Hi Tobias,

Not an issue with the plugin itself. More a formatting in WP Admin under “Table Content”.

I have your plugin setup as I want it for a client both front and back, but to keep things “stupid” proof, I am struggling to keep the table cells (in the back end) to stay at their custom width.

I have shared a few screenshot to give you an example.

    Original layout: https://ibb.co/brR3vjM
Stretched layout (ideal for client) https://ibb.co/dP8cjLP

Is this something I can change with CSS, or is there a setting I am missing. If I save the table the custom layout doesn’t change, but if I move away from the page and come back it resets.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Edit:

I have just seen this option under ‘Screen Options’ when viewing the table. Please ignore my issue.

Works as expected and should be good enough for the client.

    Sorry for any confusion.

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

Nice find! Indeed, your best chance here is to increase the default value for the column widths in the “Screen Options”. Note that this is a per-user setting, so it should be made in/from the WordPress user account that the client will be using.

Modifying column widths on the “Edit” screen by dragging them wider or more narrow is indeed only temporary for that particular editing session.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
