Table Cell Issues…

I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find anything on this topic, so sorry if it’s an already solved issue.

I’m having an issue where the table cells inside the tables aren’t showing their dashed lines in the editor. I have created these tables with TinyMCE Advanced and am working with the Twenty Ten theme… due to the fact that the person I’m building the site for doesn’t want responsive. I would like to figure out where they went, or how to get them back, because it makes it easier to edit when you can see the actual cell. I have changed the css a bit, but have also deleted all of it to check if that was the problem, and it didn’t change anything.

Basically what I’m trying to achieve is 2 columns in the main content of a page so I can have an image slider (Soliloquy) on the left and copy/type on the right. If there’s a better way to do this, I am very open to suggestions.
