Table background color not appearing…

Hi. I have used widgets on pages to display links on some of my pages like this: https://www.mt-katahdin.com/east-millinocket-churches/ – The hyperlinks are initially displayed as white so I have added a simple box around the shortcode to display a darker color. This was working but after one update or another it stopped displaying the background color of the table.

Just to be clear… The table appears to be showing just not the background color.

I have disabled any plugins that affect style and nothing seems to do the trick. Can you tell me how to get the background color to display?
