Sounds like you may need to use a browser tool like Firebug to look at what the CSS is doing with that table.

Did you look at the CSS?

Looks like this CSS is causing that:

table, td, div, img {
    border: 0 none;
    border-collapse: collapse;
}

is this in the code? cant locate

It’s in your theme style.css file.
