    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, using TablePress in tabs with features like “Horizontal Scrolling” enabled will not work. I assume that this is enabled for this table. Can you please try again after unchecking that checkbox on the table’s “Edit” screen?

    Regards,
    Tobias

I disabled all those functions in the first place because the table is just a static view of our offers. thanks a lot

    Hi,

yes, of course, if you don’t need the features, it’s best to turn off the “Use DataTables” checkbox.

    Why ?
If i grab the corner of the browser and resize then put it straight back, it fixes it.
Seems this could be fixable or even have some options for responsove only on mobile etc.
I have no issue paying, would that be part of the responsive extensions ?

    Hi,

yes, resizing seems to trigger the calculations for the widths again, but unfortunately, as I’m not the developer of the original JS code behind this (from https://www.datatables.net/) I don’t know how and what code to trigger when a tab is opened.

The only real way that I know is to replace the horizontal scrolling feature that is loaded by the corresponding checkbox on the table’s “Edit” screen with the scroll mode of the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/
This uses a different technique that is not prone to this problem.

    Tobias

So if i buy the extension, it will work ?
sorry to double check, the amount of times i get told that buying xyz will fix it by a plugin developer, and invariably is not the case.
would that still scroll nicely with touch screens ?

    Hi,

no worries, you don’t have to buy anything (my philosophy here is that everybody can download and use the Extension for free, and then maybe donate if they want to).
So, I recommend to just try the Extension ??

    Tobias

Oh brilliant, and dont you worry, if i use it, you get paid dude, part of what i do is to promote and help developers in another community ??
