Hi, I like your plugin, the only one I’ve found that allows me to identify which tab I want to load on the page, and has the link to url features.

Unfortunately I cannot get it to work with the Optimizepress theme I use on my WP site. Plugin works fine on the blog pages on the site, but not on a page created with Optimizepress’s Live editor.

I’ve contacted OP support but I would be very grateful if you would take a look at a possible solution at your end.

    Thanks very much, Stefan

it looks like the tabby shortcodes and content was copied and pasted from an example page, so the first thing to try would be to delete shortcodes and retype them – to be sure that no additional invisible characters are present, each shortcode is on its own line with a blank line between it and the previous/next element.

The site is using the autoptimize plugin aggregate, minify and cache scripts and styles, so the next thing to check is whether that can affect the issue. I have used autoptimize successfully with tabby responsive tabs but have not tested every possible combination of settings. For testing autoptimize should be deactivated.

I can see that the plugin’s script is loaded but it does not appear to be having any effect on the site. This can be due to a script running before tabby.js having a problem, so temporarily deactivating other plugins might help identify a script in another plugin which might affect this.

The plugin’s styles do not appear to be loading. I have not seen this before, but a simple workaround would be to copy & paste the content of the plugin’s styles into the child theme stylesheet or WordPress’s custom styles panel in the customizer.

I have not used optimizepress and it is a commercial product which I do not own so I am not able to set up a test site to try to reproduce the issue.

pro-tip; you can disable Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there’s more info in the troubleshooting tips and info on exclusions in the AO FAQ.

    hope this helps debugging,

Hi both, thanks for your replies. It works on a normal blog page so autoptimize isn’t the issue. I copy/pasted via notepad so it looks like there’s a conflict with optimizepress’s live editor which I need to use with this plugin. I’ll talk to their support again.
