    I don’t think I have ever seen the kind of user interface you have described, and it would not be possible to achieve without making modifications to the plugin.

    If it is intended for the tabs to be read sequentially, previous tab and next tab links inside each tab section might be more appropriate.

    The optional tabby link to tab add-on can be used to make these links. An example can be seen on the tabby link to tab demo page https://michaelatkins.co.uk/tabby-link-to-tab/

    Alternatively you could add a named anchor just above the tabs and a link to that anchor just below the tabs so the visitor can click to see the tabs. To make it fancy you could also add some javascript (perhaps via a plugin or theme code) if you want to make the browser scroll smoothly rather than jump to the anchor.
