    Hi Munir,

I have just started using your Tabs Widget, and would like the text to include a list of bullet points and some other basic formatting.

Is there a way that this can be done?

Is there a way to get a text editor to work within the widget?

Any text entered is displayed as a single paragraph, with the returns at the the end of each line being ignored.

    Thanks

    Michael

  • Hi Munir,

I tried your plugin on a development site and it worked fine till 2.1.

Since 2.2 I have two problems:
    a) Tabs do not longer work. Before they worked fine.
    b) The visual editor does not work.

I have installes latest WP version. The theme is GeneratePress.
I also use tinyMCE Advanced and Meta Slider.

Any ideas? Can I go back to 2.1? It’s not available in the development versions?

    Best wishes

    Hi Daniel,

can you confirm you have also updated the SiteOrigin’s Widget bundle plugin to the latest version?

    Thanks,
    Munir

    Hi Munir and Others,

I am using the Insert Pages plugin which I found to be conflicting with your plugin.

Once I deactivate the Insert Pages plugin, the Tabs visual editor returns allowing you to format your content again.

    Hope this helps

    Hello Munir,

    a) was a problem with a theme update and is already resolved.

But I still can’t see the visual editor. If I use Site Origin editor widget it works and Blackstudio TinyMCE widget works too.

I have all latest versions installed.

    Best

    Hi Daniel,

The visual editor is a new Field provided by SiteOrigin, however i tested as much i can and it seems working fine, but still if you are facing issue, can try these steps and let me know if it works at a certain step bellow?

    1) Try switiching your theme for testing and see if it works fine with another theme. If not than..

    2) Try deactivating all plugins but keep 3 plugins active only (SiteOrigin Page builder, SiteOrigin Widget bundle, and This plugin Ultimate Addon for siteOrigin) And see if the visual editor works, if it works than it means there is a conflict with a plugin, now try re-activating each of your plugin and keep testing the visual editor and you will be able to trace which plugin it has conflict with, than please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Munir
