Tab Index Sort of Working

  • I am using latest Google Chrome (if that matters) but after I have numbered my fields in GF and I look at my form online and click in the first text box and press TAB, a “Skip to Toolbar” message appears in the upper left corner of my browser window and the cursor does not tab to the next field UNTIL I press TAB again. Then it works for a few more fields and then it takes 2 TAB presses to continue on and it works for a few more and then it takes 2 more tab presses to go on.
    What is going on here?

  • I ran into the same issue. Apparently the Skip Link already had a tabindex=”1″ so the fix was to set the tabindexes of the form elements to something starting higher than 1.
