T_CLASS error

    I was using this on my “test” site and it was working perfectly fine. When I transferred to the live site I am getting the following error:

    PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CLASS in /home/gdresser/new/wp-content/plugins/widgets-in-columns/widgets.php on line 1

    Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

    Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I still can’t activate this plugin, and I haven’t found a convenient alternative to it either …

    I finally figured it out — turns out that the widgets.php file was missing the closing php code — I needed to add ‘?>’ to the bottom of the file.
