SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0

Hello,
Many of our clients complain that they got a “SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0” error after selection the pay method and submitting their order. See also https://mikejolley.com/2015/11/12/debugging-unexpected-token-in-woocommerce-2-4/.
I wasn’t able to log the error, so i wonder if the plugin may case this error?
Notice that not all of our clients get this error. We can’t reproduce it so it may related to only one pay method or browser, etc.Thanks!

One of our clients has exactly the same problem, but… they’re not using the Mollie payment plugin, they use Sisow.
The error is not logged indeed and despite many tests, like you, I haven’t been able to reproduce the error myself, which makes troubleshooting a lot harder.
Anyway, I’m guessing there’s another plug-in causing this trouble. We’ve started disabling plug-in’s that may used during checkout one by one (started with “Flespakket” which doesn’t seem tthe culprit and now we’ve disabled the “MyParcel” plug-in), to hopefully identify what causes this problem.
I’ll reply with my findings if I can identify the cause, hope you can do the same :)o be
