  • Same here, came with 2.4.x WooCommerce update.

Yup me too (except the payment isn’t done). Came with the update. Anyone found a solution yet?

I have same experience since the the 2.4 WooCommerce update. Is there anyone knows what will be the problem.

The plugin needs to be updated to support WooCommerce 2.4
The Json error is one of the most common errors on old plugins with WooCommerce 2.4.x
2 solutions to make it work, revert back to older WooCommerce version, or hack the plugin yourself. I tried the last one but didnt get it to work completely.

I gave up and went with WooThemes plugin instead, too much loss of orders.

I get some error and just make pull request for this issue. if you can’t wait, you can grab from https://github.com/habibillah/woocommerce-braintree-payment-gateway

I downloaded the plugin from there, but still shows the same error as the first post mentions it. The plugin is uploaded on Git 10 months ago, this error is from 2 months ago, so i think that Git plugin will not solve the error. If you find any solutions, please share it. Thanks
p.s. It works fine with latest version of 2.3

I am also getting a JSON error when I try to commit an order through Braintree.

I tried to downgrade to 2.3.12, but when I do this, the billing details won’t even load on the checkout page. There’s just a spinner as though something is loading, but it never completes.

I guess that leaves me with one option, which is to hack the plugin. How do I do this?

OK, so my problem was related to two problems: the aforementioned woocommerce incompatibility, and a conflict with Subscriptio, a different Woocommerce plugin.

Rolling back Woocommerce and disabling Subscriptio fixed the problem when Braintree is in sandbox mode, but when it’s attached to a live Braintree account, it doesn’t work. It just returns and empty error box. Even when I turn on debugging, I can’t get it to actually return an error. But the order does not go though.
