    Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has come across this error?
    SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

  • I think response is not JSON data, so probably a PHP error.
    Try to alert or use browser dev tools inspector.

    Ok, I can do that. This is what I thought… On debug – what’s the issue should look like? I had it on ‘inspect element’ yesterday and then clicked each link checking the response? Is this how I look for an error for this issue? I know,probably makes you laugh there, I just don’t know how to or what to look for?? ??

    If possible just alert your AJAX response. It will help you. Don’t worry about someone’s laugh, if you really want to learn. Are you working online, I mean if you can share a link, may be I can help you.
