Syntax for “Limit to Taxonomy”

  • If I have a custom taxonomy named “news” and a tag within that taxonomy, what is the correct syntax for identifying that in the “Limit to Taxonomy”?
    This was my failed attempt: taxonomy=news&tag_ID=2

  • I tested a custom taxonomy and I see the available names in the Post Types field (list) and Limit to Taxonomy (italic text, description), eg. portfolio-type
