  • Hi AntzTech,

are you trying to do a fresh install on your WAMP server or is it already an existing copy of wordpress?

what are the credential you are using upon install? Can you confirm that they are the same and that you didn’t change any database credentials?

which database are you installing it to? can you try to append a new prefix and see if the installation continues.

I already tried doing a fresh install of WAMP and re-download wordpress. I tried multiple prefix and that didn’t help either. I also tried changing it from the default collation of latin1_swedish_ci to utf8_general_ci and that didn’t help as well. I tried the install with Ampps and it work fine so it seem the issue was with the current installation of WAMP. I tried running the installation with the same set of file on a friend’s computer and went through smoothly.

    Thanks for the help though.

awesome! Glad you sorted it out.
