syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION

    When I upgrade to the latest version I get this error and the site goes down until I restore a backup copy of the older release.

    Here is the full error:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/29/4040829/html/wp-content/plugins/cms-tree-page-view/functions.php on line 654
